La Monumental. The Monumental Bullring of Barcelona known as the "Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona" or more shortly " la Monumental" was inaugurated in 1914 with the first bullfights in this place. La Monumental, located at a confluence of Gran Via and Marina, gives also its name to a station of the Barcelona Metro network.
